How to Raise Fallen Arches

Several simple techniques can help remedy fallen arches. Walk primarily on the balls of the feet, as a little child does. While walking, place ninety percent of the weight on the outside edges of the feet. Walk on a straight line, one foot behind the other. It may take six months or a year to master this correct way of walking, but doing so will help the arches develop.

Another technique for developing the arch is to roll the arch with pressure over a golf ball. The part of the arch that hurts during this exercise is the part that needs to be raised. Pushing harder on this part will help the arch develop.
